'Live Traffic' Widget Coming to Android Version of Google Maps: Tracking Traffic Will Be Much Easier

The new widget is designed as a square tile with a traditional look that shows real-time traffic at your current location. Instead of opening the entire program, the widget allows users to see traffic at a glance. According to Google, this feature will come in handy when you travel to a place you go to, such as work, school, or home.

Users can interact with the widget using the toggle button in the corner to zoom in and out. It is currently unclear whether this widget will be resizable like other Android widgets.
