iOS 16.2 update available for download! What's new here

iOS 16.2 has been released, with important innovations and fixes. The release descriptions given about the main update (1.17 GB in size)

How do you update your iPhone to iOS 16.2?

For download iOS 16.2 on your iPhone, go to Settings → General → Software Update. If you see multiple updates listed, select Download and Install or Install Now next to iOS 16.2. You may need to enter your iPhone passcode to move on.

If you don't want the device to automatically install iOS software updates, go to Settings → General → Software Update → Automatic Updates and turn off the Download iOS Updates and Install iOS Updates keys.

This update also includes the following improvements and bug fixes: -Improved search in Messages lets you find photos based on their content (such as dog, car, contact, or text) -Reload and Show IP Address setting allows iCloud Private Migration users to temporarily disable the service for a specific site in Safari -Participant Cursors in Notes lets you see live indicators when other people update a shared note -AirDrop, Automatically returns to Contacts Only after 10 minutes to prevent requests to receive unwanted content -Traffic Accident Detection improvements on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro models -Fixes an issue that caused some notes to not sync with iCloud after updates.
