OnePlus 'accidentally' advertised iPhone

OnePlus, one of the official accounts of one of the Twitter accounts, shared the agenda of social media. Because the tag under the share on Twitter shows which device is being shared on. The technology giant also had its share of this situation and shared with the Twitter for iPhone tag while trying to advertise for the OnePlus 11 to be introduced soon.

At the bottom of the tweets on Twitter, there is a tag indicating that the sharing is done on Android or iPhone. But this tag leaves brands like OnePlus in a difficult situation. Finally, the famous YouTuber Marques Brownlee gave one for the OnePlus 10T while publishing his awards for the best smartphones of 2022.

OnePlus America's social media account responded to Marques Brownlee asking how they would receive the award and wrote "we will prove you wrong" for the OnePlus 11, which will be introduced in 2023. But the Twitter for iPhone hashtag, which drew attention to the bottom of OnePlus' tweet, backfired for the company.

Brownlee shared a screenshot he took shortly thereafter, LOL (Laugh Out Loud), which means laughing loudly. OnePlus did not respond to any tweets after this incident.

Many brands have made the same mistake before, such as OnePlus. It has been revealed many times that not only the official accounts of smartphone companies, but also the CEOs of companies use iPhones in this way. Technology giants made a statement on this subject and explained that they usually know their competitors in this way.

Elon Musk recently announced that this label will be removed due to the agreements he has not reached with Apple on advertising. But he didn't make any changes because he and Tim had solved the problems after meeting with Cook.
