However, by 2022, there is a slight recovery. Finally, market research firm IDC shared its new report revealing the third quarter of this year. So what about tablet sales?

IDC has shared its new report covering the third quarter of 2022. Accordingly, tablet sales did not experience a serious decline compared to 2021. However, giant manufacturers of the sector such as Apple, Samsung and Lenovo have lost some of their market share.

Apple, which has been at the top for a long time and has a difference to its competitors in sales, realized 14.5 million sales in the third quarter of the year and had a market share of 37.5 percent. However, it experienced a decline of 1.1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

Samsung, one of Apple's biggest competitors in the tablet market as in every field, made 7.1 million sales in the second quarter of 2022. The South Korean company took an 18.4 percent share of the pie, a 4 percent decline compared to the same period last year.

Another manufacturer in the report is Amazon. The company achieved sales of 4.3 million this year and has a market share of 11.1 percent. This corresponds to an increase of 8.2 percent compared to the same period last year. In addition, the manufacturer with the most blood loss was Lenovo. The company faced a 36.6 percent decline.
