If genuine Apple parts and processes were used in the service, the part says "Original Apple Part" next to the part. If your iPhone connected to the Internet after it was serviced, you can tap the parts to find information like the service date.

If the part is incomplete to mount, or if the part has one of the following conditions, an Unknown parts warning message appears:
  1. Replaced with a non-genuine part
  2. If it's been used on another iPhone before or plugged into another iPhone
  3. If it doesn't work as expected
iPhone part and service history is linked to your iPhone's serial number. If your iPhone is repaired to require the creation of a new serial number, only the part and service history associated with the new serial number is shown.
