German PC manufacturer Schenker introduces its new gaming-oriented laptop equipped with an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X processor. The model named XMG Apex comes with important features such as a 15.6 inch IPS screen with 144Hz refresh rate, 8 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and 256 GB SATA 3 SSD. Germany-based computer manufacturer Schenker unveiled XMG Apex, the world's first laptop with an AMD Ryzen 9 3950X processor.
Ryzen 9 3950X, a high-end processor normally used on the desktop, has found itself in a laptop this time. Using the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 on the graphics side, XMG Apex comes with 8 GB DDR4-3200 RAM and Samsung 860 Evo 250GB M.2 SSD. On the other hand, budget-oriented users will also be able to equip laptops with Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 7 3700X processors. Users looking for maximum performance will be able to choose Ryzen 9 3900X and 3950X chips.
The motherboard of XMG Apex does not support ASUS B450 and unfortunately PCIe 4.0. However, the laptop has support for PCIe 3.0 x4 and x2 NVMe / SATA 3 SSDs and 2.5-inch HDD slots for up to 6TB of storage.
