RTX 3090 Revealed. Here are the details

NVIDIA was already working new boundaries with the announcement of the RTX 3070 and 3080 during its Special Event presentation, but it was not enough for the technology company. Instead, NVIDIA has decided to take things further by introducing the NVIDIA RTX 3090, set to deliver the most power and versatility of the entire upcoming Official-powered RTX 30 occupation.

The RTX 3090 BFGPU was announced on NVIDIA GeForce Special Event presentation on September 1, 2020, along with the public of the standard RTX 3080 and the lighter-powered RTX 3070. The largest animal from the trio, the 3090 BFGPU will retail at $1499 and be available from September 24, 2020. The 3090 will offer 24GB of GDD6X memory (a large jump over the 10 GB offered in the standard RTX 3080), support for 36 Shader-TFLOPS, 69 RT-TFLOPS, and 285 Tensor-TFLOPS. Essentially, the RTX 3090 is looking to open the door for players and creators alike to experience things in a completely new way, including support for up to 8K footage. 3080 is already set to be a big leap in performance across the previous NVIDIA RTX 2080 cards and the 3090 is built to offer even more power. The NVIDIA RTX 30 series was built on the new Ampère architecture described above to boost ray detection and DLSS capabilities on what about what some of the previous Turing architecture in previous maps. In addition to the mass of the power on the map itself, the 3090 also packs on a solid redesign in the cool capabilities. The new 12-pen connector on the RTX 3090 allows more room over the previous 8-pen settings that allow for further components and cooling, which the Gpus fan takes advantage of, taking the air through the bottom and expressing it from the top of the map to help in preventing any issues of overheat.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 At A Glance:

  • 24GB GDDR6X at 19.5Gbps
  • 10496 CUDA cores and 35.7 TFLOPS of FP32 compute
