How to change the alarm tone on the iPhone

At some point, the default alarm tone on your iPhone may no longer be awakened every morning. Either you turn it off or it just gets very annoying. Learn how to change the alarm tone on your iPhone to any track or sound.

First, open the Clock app on your iPhone and select the "Alarm" tab.

Make sure you see the alarm you want to adjust. Tap the Edit button in the upper-left corner of the screen.

Now select the alarm you want to customize.

On the screen to adjust the alarm, select Sound.

There are two options to choose from: you can either use one of the available ringtones or select a track from your phone's audio library (or Apple Music).

Swipe to the Ringtones section and tap a ringtone to preview and select. If you don't like the ringtones, you can click the Tone Store button to browse ringtones from the iTunes Store that you can buy and download to your iPhone.

If you don't like any of the available ringtones, local options are the best choice. In the "Songs" section, tap Select Song.

In the next screen, you can browse your library or search directly for a title. When you find a title you like, tap to select it.

When you've made your selection, tap the Back button.

Finally, tap Save to save your alarm with the custom sound.

The next time your alarm rings, you'll be woken up with your new custom ringtone.
