First leak from iPhone 14: Camera and display features revealed!
The photo showing Apple's latest iPhone 14 series has become a hot topic among Apple fans. The image showing the cases of iPhone 14 models also revealed the camera designs and screen sizes of the devices.
A new photo from China's social media platform Weibo shows four different models of the iPhone 14. The image, which features four 6.1- and 6.7-inch models, also confirms that the iPhone 14 mini has been officially removed.
Dissatisfied with iPhone mini sales, Apple is moving towards larger dimensions with the new iPhone 14. The models in the photo are: the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
iPhone 14 models are expected to have a similar screen design to iPhone 13 models with a flat-edged design. In addition, it is possible to experience changes in the size of the camera protrusion in the new models.
iPhone 14 Pro Max diagrams previously shared by Max Weinbach showed that the new device would feature a 4.17 mm camera protrusion. This is 0.57 mm more than the protrusion on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. In addition, it is claimed that the camera array on the back of the iPhone will expand by about 5 percent on each model.
This increase in camera sizes will result in improvements for the ultra-wide camera sensor. Previous leaks have revealed that iPhone 14 Pro models may experience changes to the wide-angle camera and telephoto lens.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes the iPhone 14 Pro models will have a 48 Megapixel wide camera on the current 12 megapixel camera and 8K video recording capabilities.
Although the photo from Weibo shows only the back of the devices, it is thought that the iPhone 14 Pro series will notch up. Apple is expected to feature a pill-shaped front camera design embedded in the screen. But standard iPhone 14 models will continue to be notched.
