New iOS 16 features expected in 2022!
Apple continues to update its operating systems after the introduction of its new devices. The company, which released iOS 16.1, the first major update of iOS 16, the other day, also began to roll out iPadOS 16.
Both updates bring a lot of new features to iPhone and iPad users. However, Apple's plans for the 2022 calendar year are not yet finished. The technology giant is preparing to add new features to the iPhone and iPad models with a new update before the end of 2022.
There are some features that Apple promises for iPhone and iPad models before the end of 2022. We've put together 5 features and apps that the company is looking forward to coming in iOS 16 and iPadOS 16. Here are the new features that Apple will offer this year:
iPadOS 16: External Display Support
External display support, which is the most anticipated feature of iPadOS 16, will be included in iPad models before the end of this year. This feature will be available with Stage Manager, a new multitasking windowing system for select "iPad" models. However, the Stage Manager system introduced in iPadOS 16.1 does not yet carry this feature. The new external display support feature is expected to come with iPadOS 16.2.
Play games together through SharePlay
iOS 16 and iPadOS 16 will enable iPhone and iPad owners to use SharePlay to play games with their loved ones over FaceTime later this year. This feature, which can be used in games that have Game Center integration and support multiplayer games, will be with us before the end of 2022.
Freeform
Another application that will come from Apple this year will be Freeform. Freeform; It stands out as an application that can collect notes, shared files, web links, drawings, documents, photos, videos and more in one place. Freeform will be available on iOS, iPadOS and macOS before the end of this year.
Emergency message via satellite
Apple's new satellite emergency message system, which it introduced with the iPhone 14 models, will be available from November. Emergency messages sent via satellite will initially only be available in the U.S. and Canada. It is not yet known how this feature, which will be free for users for the first two years, will be charged in the following years.
Apple Music Classical
In August 2021, Apple acquired Primephonic, a streaming service that specializes in classical music. Following this development, Apple said that it will release a special Apple Music experience application designed and adapted specifically for classical music in 2022. As we approach the end of 2022, the application has not yet been published, but we can see this application with the next iOS 16 update.
